I began with sketching some ideas, and ended up with a wordmark first. After I had the it sketched out I continued the logo with outlines of heads from the men behind the sambal. I replaced the “I” with a pepper to give the logo some playfulness. In addition they wanted some story templates for Instagram to put text on and interact with their followers. I played around with the target from the logo to create an identity.
